The Hanavský pavilon restaurant is a stylish restaurant with a well-appointed interior. The building in the pseudobaroque style is excellently situated in the parks of Letenské sady offering an amazing view of Prague – the Vltava river with its bridges, the most famous of which is the Charles bridge, the Prague Castle, the district of Malá Strana (Lesser Quarter)... The restaurant offers culinary specialities of Czech and international cuisine, as well as a large selection of beverages. The Obecní dům (Municipal house) café is a café – restaurant in the Art nouveau style situated on the ground floor of the famous Municipal house. The café provides services ranging from breakfast in the morning to a drink in the evening. The menu card offers a large selection of meals including starters, traditional Czech cuisine, desserts (fruits, ice cream, pastries...) etc. The restaurant offers special set menus for tourist groups. Koliba Starý Vrch
The restaurant Starý Vrch is situated in the village of Středokluky, 20 min. from Prague’s city centre and only 4 km from the Praha Ruzyně airport. It is a former grange rebuilt to house a restaurant with an atmosphere of the 18th century. The restaurant organizes folklore evenings animated by traditional Czech music accompanied with dancing. The brewery Novoměstský pivovar is to be found in the very heart of the city, 400 m away from the Wenceslas Square. The brewery was set up in 1993, thus taking up the tradition of beer brewing in this area dating back to the Middle Ages. The restaurant – brewery Novoměstský pivovar is a large complex comprising several halls in various styles, the overall capacity of which is 340 seats. The U Fleků brewery and restaurant is one of the oldest, largest and prominent beerhouses in Prague and the entire country. For some people, it is a symbolical pilgrim’s place for beer fans and Czech cuisine gourmets. Vikárka
The Vikárka restaurant is to be found in the complex of the Prague Castle. It is situated in a building erected at the end of the 16th century. During the Thirty Years’ War cannons were produced here. Under the rule of Rudolf II this building housed alchemist workshops where J. Kepler ou Tycho de Brahe sought to manufacture gold or long life potion. Later on the building served as a stable until a new stable was built and the older one was doomed to become a store-house. The building was reconstructed in the classicist style at the beginning of the 19th century and then in 1964 and in 1990. The last reconstruction, in which renowned architects participated, dates back to 2005. The restaurant offers Czech as well as international cuisine and a large selection of beverages, in particular wines, on a large area covering several rooms and saloons. There is Rudolf’s foundry, a stylish place reconstructed in the style of alchemist workshops dating back to the era of Rudolf II, the capacity of which is 240 places; the restaurant for 100 people with the decoration and items from the sphere of astronomy, or several saloons on the first floor with the overall capacity of 300 people designed for banquets, conferences etc.
